Trying this new medium to reach out to IAS aspirants.In days to come I will post some finer details of my preparation plan.I got Rank 5 in CSE 2008 and will join IAS in Sept 2009.Now a little free.So blogging ...

  2. Hi Bijay,

    Its really wonderful that you are taking time to guide us. Being from a technical background, I find concept elaboration in humanities, a tricky task, since as engineers we have been trained to optimize space and time. However now to explain a concept at length raises doubts about the following issues.
    1. Content: The actual number of different perspectives, to be shared without losing relevancy.
    2. Elaboration: The amount of words which should be written, without buffering and being repetitive on a particular point
    I realize that there can be no readymade formula for this and it’s a skill which one develops. However if you could share with us a sample long answer, then it surely would go a long way into giving us those pointers which can be used to develop this skill. I am enclosing a question hereby, incase you feel to write on some other topic please do so. I hope I have been able to get my dilemma across to you, thanking you in anticipation.

    sir, i have zero base for the general studies and public administration so what would you recommended me for the study so that i would been an able to crack the ias 2010, though i'd appreciate that u guiding are fruitful and it's enough but it requires atleast one year to study throughly. so in short what decisive area and specific material i have to read for to crack !!!!!!!!kindly acknowledege if u guide me there!!!!!

  12. Bijay i'm 20 now and belong to a forward caste. so i'm thinking of writing CSE at the age of 24. from january i'm thinking of starting my preparations..

    Will it help me..
    I wanna become an IPS. So how must one belonging to a fwd caste prepare Bijay..?

    i am also a vet
    i have opted PA for mains
    i find it very difficult to comment on just one statement especially when their wtage is more than 20 marks
    even i find very less relevent information regarding some of the comments

Thanq Sir for your valuable information regarding civils prep. sir,I would like to knw about time management during coaching period.Right now I'm taking mains coaching for psychology & public administration. Following ur footsteps, I am devoting 4-5 hours for scanning newspapers & making valuable notes, but prior to my classes I'm not getting enough time for reading optionals. I wud be grateful if you could suggest a plan for concentrating on both.

  32. Hello sir, Really its wonderful idea to give guidance in your mean time. I have some doubts with me to clarify regarding this CSE 2012 exam and selecion of optonals. Basically i am from Maths background. I studied every thing telugu medium upto my college eduction. After that i have completed M.Sc statistics. Last time i have appeared for the exam but i could not successed. Then i realised that lack of clarity on the medium. How to come across the medium problem? can u suggest me to overcome this intial problem.

  43. very good article.with hard work and self motivation one can get proper results.i am preparing for IAS Hindi 2013 but with today's competition I feel that one must join some sort of coaching institute for proper preparation of IAS Hindi preparartion.
